Re: Picking the proper lens for your 5D The driving issue here is that 99.9875% of Japanese could never tell the difference between a Kobe and a Black Angus cut. Even cheap Angus has the Kobe marbling. They are kissing the ground if they are lucky enough to get a good American steak. Kobe is great and I agree with you that it is highly overrated like Canon glass. A good compliment to any steak is an 8oz. baked potato locked and loaded with butter and Cooper CV Sharp (White not yellow) cheese. Now, the old Nikkor is the standard were others are judged.
