Using layers in Photoshop Elements 2

Hi
I received Elements 2 with my camera.
I am trying to get detailed information on how to use layers. The manual is
too general. What I need is step by step procedure for every detail (I'm
nearly 80). I am hoping to locate a publication that will help me out.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

ji in regular PS (I don't use Elements) there are tutorials included under
HELP
how to....
some step by step stuff
wizards
demos
If you use Internet Explorer try this for long urls:

swipe it

Try the Photoshop elements yahoo group. Good folks there who don't mind
questions from a beginner.

I highly recommend Sara Froehlich's elements class. The price is
affordable, and you'll have the advantages of learning in a group.
