Set monitor ICC profile in Windows XP

Please assist.
I have a dual monitor system with an Nvidia 7600GS video card (monitors are
different models). I created two monitor ICC profiles using a Spyder2 (one
for each monitor). How do I assign these profiles so that they stay
assigned? I am having the hardest problem with the profiles not being
applied when switching users or when logging off and relogging on. This is
amazingly difficult. I shouldn't have to re-apply these profiles at every
logon or user switch.

I have the same problem. I suspect the problem is with the video card
software.

I tried what you suggest but the profiles still aren't sticking. When I
switch users the profiles are "lost" even though the settings are still
there. It seems they are not applied. What if you make a new user and switch
between users (Windows key + L to switch) ... do your profiles still stick?
Also, my "Color Management" tab only lets me set the profile for one of the
monitors.
Thanks for the tip on associating the profiles with the devices. I didn't
know you could do that, but it still didn't fix the problem. :-(

Hi.
I use a 2 monitor setup, and don't have any problem with the profiles. Mine
uses 2 Graphic cards, not a dual.
How are you assigning the profiles?
Through Display Properties > Settings > Advanced > Colour Management > Add
profile > Set as Default. On each Monitor.
Are you also going to Windows > Sytem 32 > Spool > Drivers > Colour,
selecting each Profile > R. Click > Properties > Associated Device should be
showing the correct Monitor.
Once you have done both of these the Profiles should stick to the Monitors,
otherwise it may be a peculiarity of your Graphics Card.
Until very recently one of my graphic cards was an Nividea, and there were
no problems.
