Re: Info about the manual focus You could focus a lens by cranking on a knurled wheel on your camera, like I can adjust the aperture on my newer Nikkors with the knurled wheel on my F5.....But Nikon doesn't do it this way. If the lens is auto focus, then the camera body will do it automatically. And, as far as I know, all Nikkors can be manually focused with a ring on the lens. The "G" type lenses can't have their aperture adjusted manually. It must be adjusted with the knurled wheel on the newer cameras. William Graham
