Personal slide viewers

I have a little old view master pana-vue 2, $9.95 you know...
but the lens is rather dreadful, uncoated and warped, and I
would like to check for sharpness as well as see a much nicer
image that is magnified. More than just seeing what the image
is.
I do have a Gagne light box and coated optic 4x loupe, but the
"light" bothers me, and I really like the viewer idea more.
Does any company make a decent one? Or, is there an older
small sized make and model to look out for?
Thanks all,

Kaiser are 3200K and 2 or 3x. Single slide and AC stack loading model
Sirostar is 3200K stack loading and 8x AC operation table top.
Braun are remote controlled slide projectors and slide viewer for the
table top with a built-in screen for 8.5x magnification. Tray fed and
fan cooled.
There aren't many other viewers made today.

Re: personal slide viewers

....oh yeah? Those are the brands you sell, no others mentioned,
no real qualities mentioned either. So, what good qualities do the
small hand held ones have?
